Yes, there are a number of configuration settings available to practices to control which patients get sent the BetterConsult questionnaire:
- Maximum patient age: practices can set the maximum patient age that they would like to receive the BetterConsult SMS. By default, this value is set to 75 years of age.
- Toggle by appointment type: practices can toggle on or off the BetterConsult SMS based on the appointment types used within Best Practice. This functionality applies to both default and custom appointment types that the practice might use for patient appointments.
- Patient opt-out: In the case that a patient would like to opt out of receiving BetterConsult SMS entirely, all they need to do is text "STOP" to 0480049549. In order to re-subscribe again, patients can reply “START” to the same number.
- Practice opt-out form: practice reception can opt-out patients who request this at reception, all you need to do is contact your account manager for your practice form or email email@example.com
